OUR HISTORY

J. M. Cope Construction Company, Inc. was incorporated in South Carolina in November 1980 and began operation in April 1981. The company was founded by J. M. Cope, the result of his long-held desire to own and operate a general contracting firm. Prior to founding his own company, Mr. Cope worked as a project manager for McDevitt and Street, Parke Division for eight years.

J. M. Cope Construction holds Unlimited General Contracting Licenses in North and South Carolina.

For over 28 years, the J. M. Cope Construction Company has operated profitably and has continued to grow as one of this region’s most active and respected firms.
